It is such an exciting time when we add a new pet to our family. However there is also a lot involved with the transition and it can be a bit daunting. We recommend bringing your new pet into the clinic within 2 to 3 days after bringing him or her home. Even if they are not due for vaccination it is important to do a full health check to make sure you have a healthy pet for your family.

There can also be a lot of questions and things you are unsure of, and this is good time for you to discuss any queries or concerns you may have. At the clinic we also run Puppy Pre-School which we strongly recommend for any new puppies. It is very important that young puppies learn appropriate social etiquette and they will learn this in class. Our instructor will also help you teach your puppies the basic commands that every dog owner should know including sit and stay, all while using positive reinforcement techniques. It is also a really fun activity and a great way for your new little puppy to let off steam and socialise with other new puppies.
