Meet Dr Sondhya who joined the Carlton Veterinary Surgery team in January this year. Sondhya moved to Melbourne from her home town of Whitley Bay, a small coastal town in north east England, in 2004. She enjoys working in both the medical and surgical parts of her job, and hopes to expand her knowledge in smaller exotic pets.

Sondhya shares her time with her partner Dave, her two dogs, Tammy and Tess, and her cat Daisy. She has helped raise and foster many abandoned animals, taking in four newborn kittens only days after joining our clinic. Outside of work she enjoys good food and wine, as well as recreational sports like badminton and cycling.
